A design for an acoustic sound enhancing chair.
One day a friend who is a musician told me she really wanted to play her cello in a place where the acoustics were badly. Inspired by her story I came up with the design for a acoustics improving chair for places like that.
For the acoustics research their was a collaboration with acoustic expert and professor Mr. Luxemburg. He pointed out what kind of shape the design should be and material advise. The material of the design is paper, which sounds contradicting. But because of the mix of recycled paper and special glue it becomes a real firm and solid material which reflects sound waves.
